The animation is incredible. The story is funny and very smartly written. The music compliments the tone of the film.

Patrick Smith is an animation force to be watched.

Ian Cinco made this stop motion music video for the WNYC Soundcheck Video Contest in August 2009. It took exactly 1 month to complete it (August 1st to August 31st). Storyboarding was done on the subway to and from work. All clock construction and animation was done on nights and weekends. .

From the day André was born, he was harassed by the wind, which resulted in a fear of it. Angst is beautiful and strange Animation.

TOONY THOUGHTS
This is an animation by Emiel Penders. I really like the look. Keeping the gray, black and white pallette really helps tell the tale of a young boy being harrassed by the wind. If it was brightly colored I don't think it would work as well. The story is told without words. But it is easy to understand what is going on (and possibly relate depending on how your childhood went.) Overall it is a well crafted piece both stylewise and storywise.

This is a cartoon by Graham Annable. I like the design of the characters and subtlety of their movements. He is a genius at pacing and anticipating. His mastery of the craft is so great that his cartoons make me laugh with the littlest of action. This is my favorite of his work.
